The Gruffalo's Child，很适合男孩的绘本，咕噜牛尖尖的牙齿，庞大的身体，看起来很可怕，可是儿子很喜欢看，之前看过咕噜牛和小老鼠的故事，这一次看的咕噜牛小妞妞的故事也很吸引点点。故事中的小妞妞和每个小宝宝一样有好奇心，咕噜牛小妞妞也是这样，爸爸不让他去森林里，她偏要去找怪物，小老鼠以自己的影子吓走了小妞妞，内容很简单那，画面很诙谐，小妞妞沿袭了咕噜牛爸爸的特点，很有趣味。告诉孩子在生活中遇到问题要努力思考，想办法解决，不要被表面现象给迷惑了，点点看过故事以后就知道了影子是比原来的物体要大的，夏天出门散步的时候还特意要看看自己影子有没有变长变大。
