这是I CAN READ 系列第一级别的书，可以配合phonics A来学习。情节还是挺有意思的，女巫最喜欢的是老鼠，所以老鼠仗着这个认为什么东西都的他的，他让猫从垫子上走开，猫不买他的账，对话非常有意思。音频也很好。故事的结尾，垫子说：thank goodness！非常有意境！
